Dr. Hameed
In 1991 Dr. Hameed’s family asked him to take over the family business and that is when he started venturing out to other areas.
Dr. Hameed started his own company in 1993 and which was AL HAJER for commercial agencies, specializing in importing goods to Iraq and the Middle East. AL HAJER was a success and started entering and winning tenders to supply food products and construction material to the local market.
"I established AL ARABIYA for industry trading in Alexandria, Egypt free trade zone, A factory to import and assemble power generators that produce 12 KVA-1,500 KVA air compressors, water pumps and welding machinery. The Heming, Miami and Stanly brands are a part of Al Arabiya selling all over the world. In 2004, I bought and renovated the BZOMMAR PALACE HOTEL, located in the heart of the Lebanese mountains. It is today a unique tourist resort."
Dr. Hameed is also a partner of LEADLINE, an offshore company, the agent of Master food & British American Tobacco, importing and distributing products such as: M&M, Twix, Galaxy Bounty, Kent, Rothmans, Craven A., Dunhill, Viceroy etc... Being its brands.
Dr. Hameed AlGaood is the founder and chairman of many companies’ worldwide dealing production, construction, trading, tourism and real estate in Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and the United States.
